Remade, reformed, renewed. Michael Palmer. Easter Sunday 2020

10 Apr 2020 by Peter Skelton in: Content from Sunday

A joyous welcome to our Easter Sunday service.

Here's the service sheet.  There are links within the pdf to songs, an activity for children, the talk by Michael and a dramatic presentation of John 20:1-18.  Having the wonderful resources online certainly helps in this time of social isolation.  Please talk to someone about what you liked/learned/(maybe) loathed.

Opening song - Low in the Grave He Lay

In Christ Alone - sung by a virtual choir (singing at home, just like us)

A video of John 20:1-18

Bible Reading to introduce Sermon - Matthew 28:1-10

Remade, reformed, renewed- pdf and Video  - a talk by Rev. Michael
(A condensed version of the talk for children and an activity sheet can be found on these links -  A kid's talk and A children's activity - That Day Sparkles)

A Service of the Lord's Supper - Please assemble your own bread and wine/juice. With the Order of service found here you can join Michael as he leads us in the service at this link.

Join in and sing Thine Be the Glory with Kings College Choir.

Below is a Picture taken at Jigamy by John Cruse – a sign of new life as is the cross and resurrection of our Lord. Allan Gibson has painted a picture of this photo and it currently can be viewed at a shop front at the entrance of Twofold Arcade, Eden.
