Encounters with God. Peter Skelton 260420

25 Apr 2020 by Peter Skelton in: Content from Sunday

How are you all going?  I don't need to tell you that this isolation has certainly changed things.  Some are enjoying more time at home but the downside is the limited encounters with others.  Please accept our virtual church as second best to seeing all of you in the flesh. - Peter

Here's the service outline with links to YouTube for the music and the sermon.  If you don't like swapping pages on the internet all the time you can print the service outline off and just use this site to go to the visual content.

Hymns -
Shine Jesus Shine
It is well, it is well with my soul
Alleluia, Sing to Jesus
Sermon with the Luke reading as video and written
His sheep I am
Exit tune - On the Road to Emmaus
And as a late entry - the crossword

And for a special, online treat here's a clip from Bruce Almighty where Bruce, in his arrogance, fails to recognise God right in front of him.  I thought that fitted with the road to Emmaus reading.

Our virtual morning tea is our chance to see each other and find out how things are going. Marie has offered to give a testimony.  The longer version is available here.
